Dhaka, Nov. 30 -- Bangladesh has reported five more deaths due to dengue fever, while 636 new patients have been admitted to hospitals with the disease in the past 24 hours.
In November, dengue claimed 99 lives, the highest monthly death toll in 2025. Until now, 382 people have died from the illness this year.
The total number of hospitalisations from the Aedes mosquito-borne disease this year has reached 94,402, with 24,530 patients admitted in November alone.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin on Sunday, of the five deaths, three occurred in Dhaka South City Corporation, and one each in Chattogram and Khulna divisions.
