Dhaka, Nov. 23 -- Bangladesh has reported eight more deaths due to dengue fever, while 778 new patients have been admitted to hospitals with the disease in the past 24 hours.
The total number of hospitalisations from the Aedes mosquito-borne illness this year has reached 90,264, with 20,402 patients admitted in November alone.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin on Sunday, of the eight dengue patients who died in the past 24 hours, three were admitted to hospitals in Mymensingh, two in Dhaka South City Corporation, and one each in Barishal, Chattogram, and Dhaka divisions.
