Dhaka, Nov. 27 -- Bangladesh has reported seven more deaths due to dengue fever, while 567 new patients have been admitted to hospitals with the disease in the past 24 hours.
The total number of hospitalisations from the Aedes mosquito-borne illness this year has reached 92,784, with 22,912 patients admitted in November alone.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin on Thursday, of the seven deaths, three occurred in Dhaka South City Corporation, two in Mymensingh Division, and one each in Chattogram Division and Dhaka North City Corporation.
In the first 27 days of November, dengue has claimed 94 lives, the highest monthly death toll in 2025. Until now, 377 people have died from the fever this year.
