Dhaka, Jan. 7 -- Bangladesh will be required to travel to India to take part in next month's T20 World Cup after the International Cricket Council (ICC) rejected a request to move the team's matches outside the host country, according to reports.
Cricket websites ESPNcricinfo and Cricbuzz report that the ICC informed the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) during an online meeting on Tuesday that Bangladesh must play its fixtures in India or risk forfeiting points.
However, ESPNcricinfo said that the BCB had denied receiving any ultimatum from the ICC.
