Dhaka, April 22 -- Bangladesh have taken the lead against Zimbabwe in their second innings after losing Mahmudul Hasan Joy as play resumed following a lengthy rain delay on the third day of the opening Test.
Bangladesh were 100 for 2 after 24 overs, leading by 18 runs, with Mominul (22) and skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (22) looking to push them towards an imposing total at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
After struggling against short balls for some time in a 60-run second-wicket stand with Mominul, Joy ended up gloving a quick bouncer from Blessing Muzarabani (2-25) to first slip.
