Dhaka, July 3 -- Bangladesh has posted $48.28 billion in export earnings in the 2024-25 fiscal year, registering an 8.58 percent year-on-year growth despite months of political and labour unrest.

The updated figures, shared by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Vice Chairman Anwar Hossain with bdnews24.com on Wednesday, show that the country earned $3.81 billion more than in the previous fiscal year, when exports totalled $44.47 billion.

While the full-year performance showed positive growth, monthly figures tell a more volatile story.

In June 2025, Bangladesh exported $3.34 billion worth of goods, which was 7.55 percent lower than the $3.61 billion exported in June 2024, a drop of $272.4 million.
