Dhaka, March 19 -- The interim government has strongly condemned the new Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip, protesting the "blatant violation" of the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement issued by the foreign ministry on Wednesday, Bangladesh expressed profound concerns over the resumption of Israeli military aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The attacks resulted in extensive loss of civilian lives, including children and women, and the further deterioration of the already-dire humanitarian situation in the region.
"This renewed cycle of violence represents a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a grievous disregard for established ceasefire agreements," the statement read.
