Dhaka, May 15 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has greenlighted the team to visit Pakistan for a T20 series citing clearance from the interim government.

The board will now speak to the cricketers to decide on the tour, it said on Thursday.

The Tigers flew to the United Arab Emirates for a T20 series in two groups on Wednesday. The matches will be held on Saturday and Monday at Sharjah.

According to the itinerary, the team will then fly directly to Pakistan.

The recent military conflict between India and Pakistan put the series in doubt.

BCB Director and chief of Media Committee, Iftekhar Ahmed, said the cricketers "will not be forced" to travel to Pakistan.
