Dhaka, June 13 -- Bangladesh has strongly condemned Israel's latest airstrikes on Iran and called on the international community to take coordinated steps to preserve stability in the Middle East.
In a statement issued on Friday, the foreign ministry said it was "deeply concerned" over the attack and described it as a "blatant act of hostility" that clearly violates the UN Charter, international law, and Iran's sovereignty.
"It poses a serious threat to regional and global peace and security with far reaching consequences," it added.
The strike, carried out early Friday local time, shook Tehran and several other cities across Iran.
