Dhaka, June 4 -- Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansur and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen will accompany Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus on a five-day official visit to the United Kingdom, scheduled from Jun 9 to 13.

Chief Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam confirmed the itinerary during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke met with Yunus ahead of the visit.

"The chief advisor will receive the 'Harmony Award' from King Charles III. This is a prestigious international award," said Shafiqul.

"He will also have a private audience with King Charles and will also meet with top government officials in the UK."
