Dhaka, Nov. 18 -- Bangladesh is set to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pakistan to strengthen cooperation between the police academies of the two countries.
In a meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Home Advisor Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured Pakistan's High Commissioner Imran Haider that the MoU would be signed.
"A memorandum of understanding or agreement will be signed to strengthen cooperation between the police academies of the two countries," he said.
Jahangir also discussed with Imran the possibility of reviving a move taken in 2004 to have a legal instrument for the mutual exchange or transfer of criminals between the countries.
