Dhaka, Feb. 25 -- Muhammad Yunus, chief advisor to the interim government, says that Bangladesh as a state is responsible for ensuring justice for the brutal massacre during the mutiny at the Pilkhana headquarters of the country's border security force.
The chief advisor's remarks come as the country observes National Martyred Army Day for the first time on Tuesday.
The interim government has decided to observe this day as National Martyred Army Day every year from now on in memory of those killed in the Pilkhana massacre in 2009, he said.
The chief advisor said he commemorated the martyred army officers with deep respect and sorrow.
