Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Members of the Awami League, barred from all sorts of political activities, have hoisted the party flag at its Khulna office.
They also placed floral wreaths at portraits of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Hasina.
The event took place on Sunday afternoon at the district and metropolitan Awami League office at Lower Jashore Road's Shankha Market.
Khulna Sadar Police chief Kabir Hossain confirmed the details.
According to witnesses and local business owners, activists unlocked the collapsible gate on the ground floor and proceeded to the first floor.
