Dhaka, Jan. 23 -- The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch has arrested another alleged shooter accused of killing Swechhasebak Dal leader Azizur Rahman Muchabbir.

The suspect, identified as Rahim, was arrested in a raid in Narsingdi early on Friday, DB Additional Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam said.

"Our team is still conducting its operation and efforts are under way to recover the weapon used in the crime," he said, adding that further details would be disclosed later.

Earlier, on Jan 11, the DB announced the arrests of four people, including one shooter, Jinat, in connection with the killing. Rahim, the other shooter, had been absconding since then.
