Dhaka, May 5 -- A woman called Tanzila has succumbed to the burn injuries she suffered in a gas cylinder fire in Gazipur.

All five burn victims of the fire incident have now died of their wounds.

"Tanzila died at 11pm yesterday (Sunday). She had burns on 90 percent of her body," said Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.

The fire broke out on the night of Apr 27 at a house in the Mogorkhal area under Gazipur's Basan Thana.

Five victims of the fire were rushed to the burn institute around 10:30pm that night.
