Dhaka, Dec. 15 -- An air ambulance has arrived in Dhaka to transfer Inqilab Moncho Convenor Osman Sharif Hadi, who was shot in the capital last week, to Singapore for further treatment.

The private jet, a Gulfstream G-100 being used as an air ambulance, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:22am on Monday, according to SM Ragib Samad, the airport's executive director.

It is expected to depart later in the day with Hadi on board.

All necessary arrangements have been made to take Hadi, a prospective independent candidate in the upcoming parliamentary election, to Singapore General Hospital, according to the Chief Advisor's Office (CAO).
