Dhaka, Nov. 29 -- The interim government's Advisory Council has held a special prayer session for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who remains in critical condition in hospital.

The session took place on Saturday at the office of Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus, who presided over the meeting. Religious Affairs Advisor AFM Khalid Hossain led the prayers, according to a statement by the Chief Advisor's Office (CAO).

On Friday, Yunus expressed concern over Khaleda's deteriorating health and called on the public to pray for her swift recovery.
