Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- Information Advisor Mahfuj Alam has said many office employees, including those at student advisors' offices, are in a "state of crisis" due to uncertainty over "losing their position", an issue that he said was disrupting official duties.

On Sunday, he mentioned that the office of Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, who is in the Advisory Council as a student representative, has also been "inactive" for the past month.

Mahfuj said, "The government is facing a major crisis, which I've said before -- a crisis of when my position will be removed. Another crisis is that for the past month, there have been rumours in media circles about whether student advisors will be dismissed.
