Dhaka, Feb. 18 -- Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, the interim government's local government advisor, supports holding local government elections before the national elections as it would help alleviate the suffering of people struggling to access public services.
However, Asif stated that it was only his "personal" opinion and that the government would take the final decision on the matter.
Asif spoke to the media after taking part in a session of the Deputy Commissioners' Conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon.
