Dhaka, Jan. 14 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has questioned its former commissioner Md Jahurul Haque for nearly three hours as part of an inquiry into allegations of bribery, abuse of power and forgery.

Jahurul arrived at the ACC headquarters in Segunbagicha around 10:30am on Wednesday, accompanied by his wife.

He left the office after the questioning ended at about 1:30pm, without responding to questions from journalists.

ACC spokesperson Akhtarul Islam confirmed the interrogation but offered no additional information.
