Dhaka, March 30 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has found two flats, 10 plots, and two houses while investigating the "illegal" assets of Md Mujibur Rahman, former security chief of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, and his wife Tasrin Mujib.
Mujibur is one of the senior army officers dismissed following the power change.
ACC spokesperson Akhtarul Islam told bdnews24.com that the investigation into the couple's "unexplained" wealth had begun.
Based on the findings, the national anti-graft agency has filed a plea to seize their assets and freeze their 16 bank accounts.
