Dhaka, June 29 -- Mohammad Jabed Alam and two of his nephews were headed home after seeing the body of his older brother Khorshed Alam at a hospital in Dhaka's Uttara. They were waiting for transport next to the road in Azampur when a stone-laden truck making a U-turn ran them over.

All three were killed at the scene, said Golam Mostofa, chief of Uttara East Police Station.

Jabed was a businessman. His nephew Naimul Haque worked at a travel agency. Another nephew Fahim Uddin Bin Ahmed was a student at Dhaka's Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. Naim and Fahim were cousins, the sons of Jabed's two sisters.

Muhammad Delwar Hossain, the father of Naim's late wife, provided the information.

Naim lived in Old Dhaka.
