Dhaka, Jan. 2 -- Five students of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) have been injured after they were allegedly attacked by local residents while out looking for food late at night.
The incident took place late on Thursday night near the Shesh Mor area, close to the university campus in Mymensingh.
The victims include four students from the Isha Khan Hall and one from the Maulana Bhashani Hall, according to Mymensingh Kotwali Police Station chief (OC) Nazmus Sakib.
They have been identified by single names as Siam, a third-year student of Animal Husbandry, Antar and Iman, second-year students of Veterinary Science, Tanvir, a first-year Agriculture student - all residents of the Isha Khan Hall - and Priya, a second-year student o...
