Dhaka, Jan. 14 -- Huzaifa Afnan, the 9-year-old girl shot in Cox's Bazar's Teknaf from across the border in Myanmar, has been brought to Dhaka for advanced treatment.
An air ambulance brought her to the National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital at 11:30pm on Tuesday. She was then admitted, said the hospital's Joint Director Badrul Alam.
"We have formed a medical board and started treatment. We will provide an update at a later time."
Huzaifa, the daughter of Jashi Uddin - a resident of Lombabil village in Whykong Union, was shot and injured on Sunday as she went out to buy breakfast with her grandfather.
