Dhaka, Feb. 25 -- The interim government has appointed new secretaries to nine ministries and divisions, with two existing secretaries reassigned and seven promoted from additional secretary positions.

Cabinet Division Secretary (Coordination and Reform) Mahmudul Hossain Khan has been made a member of the Planning Commission while Special Officer (Secretary) at the Ministry of Public Administration Md Mostafizur Rahman has been appointed as secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.

Additional Secretary Aleya Akter of the Ministry of Public Administration has been promoted to secretary of the Statistics and Informatics Division.
