Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- At least seven people, including three family members, have died after a head-on collision between a bus and an autorickshaw in Mymensingh. They were all passengers on the autorickshaw.

The accident occurred in Mymensingh Sadar Upazila's Alalpur area at 11 am on Friday, according to Inspector Anwar Hossain from the local police station.

Bablu Ahmed, 45, his wife Shila Akter, 35, and their son seven-year-old-Sadman were among the dead. They were travelling to Mymensingh to attend a relative's funeral.

Autorickshaw driver Alamin Hossain, 25, also died in the accident but authorities are yet to identify the three other victims.
