Dhaka, Nov. 22 -- At least four people have been killed when a bus collided with a three-wheeled passenger vehicle, locally known as an easy bike, in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila.
The crash occurred at around 2pm in Nashipur, outside the Wheat and Maize Research Institute on the Dinajpur-Dashmile Highway, said Mohammad Nuruzzaman, chief of Dinajpur Kotwali Police.
The dead were identified as Marjina Khatun, 55, and Sajia Begum, 15. Police said the other two victims, including a child, had yet to be identified. All of the dead belonged to the same family.
The wounded three-wheeler driver Rubel, 25, and Mokbul, 70 -- both identified by a single name -- were admitted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
