Dhaka, Feb. 22 -- After a two-day fight for his life, a businessman injured with a scythe during a robbery in Jashore's Sharsha has succumbed to his wounds. Police have arrested four robbers in connection with the incident.
The victim, 42-year-old Abdur Rashid Rokon, died at Jashore Sadar Hospital at 11:30pm on Friday.
Rokon hailed from Ward No. 1 in the Upazila's Baganchra Union. He was the manager of Mandul Traders, a shop in Bagachra Bazar's Masjid Market area owned by Ruhul Amin.
Amin and Sub-Inspector Ujjal Hossain of Sharsha Police Station confirmed Rokon's death.
Mandul Traders supplied goods to different locations as a dealer for Narish Feed Limited.
