Dhaka, June 11 -- Three people have been killed after a covered van crashed into a motorcycle in Pabna's Ishurdi Upazila.

The accident occurred around 7am on Wednesday in the Munnar Mor area of Salimpur Union, said Inspector Mushfiqur Rahman of Pakshi Highway Police Station.

He said the motorcycle was headed from Kushtia to Natore, while the covered van was headed to Kushtia. The two crashed head-on along the way, killing three people.

Police have yet to confirm the names and identities of the victims.
