Dhaka, May 19 -- Three young siblings have been injured when a bomb they found "at a field near their house while playing" exploded in Jashore's Sadar Upazila.

The incident occurred in the Golpata Mosque area of Shankarpur in the town around 8:30am on Monday, according to Abul Hasnat, chief of Jashore Kotwali Police Station.

The injured have been identified as Shojib Ahmed, 7, Khadizatul Kubra, 5, and Ayesha Sultana, 3. They are the children of local resident Shahadat Hossain. The three of them have been admitted to Jashore General Hospital with injuries.
