Dhaka, March 29 -- Three brothers, including two minors, have died when a bus ploughed into the motorcycle they were riding on in Barguna's Pathorghata Upazila.

The incident occurred in the Upazila's Sonar Bangla area around 7:45am on Saturday, said Mehedi Hasan, chief of Pathorghata Police Station.

The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Md Naimuzzaman Shuvo, 14-year-year-old Mohammad Shanto and 8-year-old Mohammad Nadim.

The Rajib Paribahan bus was en route to Dhaka when it collided head-on with the Pathorghata-bound motorcycle, according to Mehedi.

"The brothers died on the spot. Their bodies have been recovered and taken to Pathorghata Hospital," he said.
