Dhaka, Jan. 22 -- A case has been filed naming 29 people over the killing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) member Abdul Motaleb, who was attacked during an operation in Jungle Salimpur.

A RAB-7 official of deputy assistant director (DAD) rank filed the case at Sitakunda Police Station shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

Sitakunda Police Station chief (OC) Mohinul Islam told bdnews24.com that 29 people have been named in the case, along with 150 to 200 unidentified suspects.

He said a man named Yasin has been made the prime suspects in the case.

At least three people have already been arrested in connection with the incident-two of them named in the FIR and one detained on suspicion, OC Mohinul said.
