Dhaka, March 21 -- Two people have reportedly been killed and 10 others injured in a clash over a power struggle in Narsingdi's Raipura Upazila.
The incident occurred at Mouhinipur in Chanpur Union on Friday morning between the "Boro Bari" clan and the "Jan Mahmud Bari" clan, according to Sujon Chandra Sarkar, Narsingdi superintendent of police (crime).
Freedom fighter Abdus Salam leads the Boro Bari clan while Shamsu Member leads the Jan Mahmud Bari clan.
Momen Sarkar, chairman of the Chanpur Union council, confirmed the news of the two deaths.
The victims are 23-year-old Amin and 35-year-old Bashar, both identified by single names. They are members of the Boro Bari clan.
