Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been increased again at the consumer level, with the cost of a 12kg cylinder rising by Tk 50 for February.

The new price has been set at Tk 1,356, up from Tk 1,306 in January, according to the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Monday.

The revised rates will come into effect from 6pm.

BERC said the latest adjustment was made based on the average price of propane and butane under the Saudi contract price for February 2026, announced by Saudi Aramco.

Under the new pricing structure, the consumer price of private LPG has been fixed at Tk 113.4 per kg.
