Dhaka, Feb. 10 -- The Public Service Commission has published the results of the preliminary test as part of the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exams.

In the results published on Tuesday, 12,385 examinees emerged successful, moving ahead to compete in two more stages.

A total of 290,951 candidates applied to take the preliminary examination.

The test was held simultaneously on Jan 30 at 190 centres across Dhaka and all divisional cities.

Candidates can view their results on the Public Service Commission's official website (www.bpsc.gov.bd).

Results are also available via SMS from Teletalk numbers.

The preliminary examination consisted of a 200-mark MCQ examination with 200 questions.
