Dhaka, Jan. 15 -- Global pop icon Ariana Grande and "Bridgerton" star Jonathan Bailey have officially confirmed their return to the London stage in a major production of Stephen Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George".

The announcement, which follows months of industry speculation, marks a significant theatrical homecoming for the "Wicked" co-stars.

The Guardian reports that the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical is scheduled to open at the Barbican Centre in the summer of 2027.

According to the British daily, the production explores the life of pointillist painter Georges Seurat and his fictional great-grandson, a narrative crafted by Sondheim's long-term collaborator James Lapine.
