Bangladesh, Aug. 13 -- A man described as an "active Jubo League worker" has been hacked to death in Jashore after he was called away from his home, his family claims.
The incident occurred in Daulatdihi village after 12:30am on Wednesday, said Jashore Kotwali Police Station chief Abul Hasnat.
The dead man has been identified as Rezaul Islam, 50.
Rezaul was an active Jubo League activist, and local villagers were involved in his murder, his wife Sheuli Begum alleged.
