Dhaka, May 27 -- A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on Meghna Group Chairman Mostafa Kamal in connection to allegations of irregularities and corruption at Shuchona Foundation, an organisation chaired by former prime minister Sheikh Hasina's daughter Saima Wazed Putul.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib issued the order on Tuesday, said Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) spokesperson Akhtarul Islam.

The anti-graft agency's Deputy Director Md Monirul Islam submitted the petition in the court seeking a travel ban on the Meghna Group and Ekattor Media Limited chairman.
