Bangladesh, July 28 -- Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed has categorically denied allegations of assault and making threats following claims that he lured someone to an ambush over the phone.

The pacer, preoccupied with changing his residence, explained he was unable to answer calls earlier and claimed that a friend of his was the one assaulted.

"The accusations against me are entirely false and baseless. I didn't assault anyone, and they are trying to embarrass me with a fabricated police complaint." Taskin said on Monday.
