Dhaka, Nov. 16 -- Police say two crude bombs were detonated outside the Central Road residence of interim government Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan as tensions ran high ahead of the International Crimes Tribunal verdict of ousted premier Sheikh Hasina.
On Sunday, New Market Police chief AKM Mahfuzul Haque said the explosions occurred at around 9pm.
Officers rushed to the scene shortly after, he added, confirming that no casualties were reported.
"We are trying to identify them," the officer said.
