Bangladesh, Sept. 12 -- Ballot counting for Jahangirnagar University's Central Students' Union (JUCSU) and hall elections, overshadowed by allegations of irregularities and boycotts,is advancing at a snail's pace.
By 4:30am on Friday, Election Commission officials had managed to complete the vote tally for four halls.
The counting will proceed sequentially for all 21 hall student residential halls.
Around 4:45am, officials inside the temporary counting room at the Senate Bhaban said vote counting for Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall, Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall, AFM Kalam Uddin Hall, and Jahanara Imam Hall had been completed.
The process for Mowlana Bhashani Hall was in its final stage.
