United Kingdom, Sept. 1 -- Taco Bell will reconsider the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to power its drive-through restaurants after videos of the technology making errors have been viewed millions of times on social media.

In one clip, a customer crashed the system after ordering 18,000 cups of water while another saw a person become increasingly frustrated when the AI repeatedly asked him to add more drinks to his order.

The fast-food chain has introduced the technology at 500 locations across the US since 2023 in an attempt to reduce mistakes and speed up orders, but the opposite impact seems to have taken place.
