United Kingdom, Feb. 7 -- Steve Jobs told Bill Gates to "take acid" to improve the design of his products.

The Microsoft co-founder has shared a conversation he once had with the late Apple boss - who died in 2011 aged 56 - revealing Steve was less than flattering about his designs and said taking drugs would have helped improve the looks he came up with.

Bill told The Independent newspaper: "Steve Jobs once said that he wished I'd take acid because then maybe I would have had more taste in my design of my products."

The billionaire went on to admit the two tech gurus had very different skill sets and he felt jealous of Steve's ability to come up with amazing product designs.
