United Kingdom, April 11 -- Samsung and Google have collaborated to introduce Gemini to Ballie.
The South Korean and the American tech titans have joined forces to enable Google's generative artificial intelligence chatbot on Samsung's upcoming home AI companion robot.
Ballie - which will be available in the US and Korea in summer 2025 - uses Gemini's "multimodal capabilities", as well as Samsung language models, to "process and understand a variety of inputs, including audio and voice, visual data from its camera and sensor data from its environment".
An example of this is if a user felt tired, the device - using Google's AI assistant - could offer up advice on how to improve their energy levels from trusted and verified sources.
