United Kingdom, Dec. 12 -- Capcom has officially confirmed that Leon S. Kennedy will return in Resident Evil Requiem.

Announced during The Game Awards, the upcoming horror title will feature a dual-protagonist structure led by veteran agent Leon and newcomer Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst.

Capcom has said the pairing is designed to offer contrasting playstyles, with Grace anchoring more investigative, tension-driven sections while Leon brings a familiar emphasis on combat-focused survival horror.

Leon's involvement had been widely rumoured after leaked PlayStation Store artwork surfaced earlier this week, showing a visibly older and more weathered version of the character looming over Grace.
