United Kingdom, Nov. 21 -- Google has added AirDrop compatibility to Android.
The company has rolled out an update that will make Apple's iPhone AirDrop compatible with Google's Quick Share on the Pixel 10 lineup, a move that brings seamless, cross-platform file sharing to millions of users and directly answers one of Android's longest-standing feature gaps.
Quick Share, Google's native device-to-device sharing tool, will now communicate directly with Apple's AirDrop, letting users send photos, videos, documents and other files between Pixel 10 phones and iPhones with the same tap-and-go simplicity Apple users have enjoyed for years.
