United Kingdom, Nov. 19 -- Google has expanded access to its Gemini AI tools inside Google Vids, opening previously paid-only features to anyone with a Gmail account.

The update marks Google's biggest push yet to bring AI-assisted video creation to casual users, turning Google Vids from a lightweight productivity tool into a broadly accessible consumer editor.

The company has said Gemini can now help anyone turn rough ideas into polished videos "faster than ever," with a set of creative tools that were until now limited to Google Workspace subscribers.
