United Kingdom, Nov. 26 -- Google is reportedly going to bring Android to PCs throught new software known as Aluminium OS.

According to Android Authority, the platform - internally said to be called ALO - surfaced via a now-removed Google job listing, which described it as "a new operating system built with AI at the core".

That AI-first positioning aligns with Google's broader platform strategy and its recent partnership with Qualcomm, announced at Snapdragon Summit, to build a converged mobile-desktop computing layer powered by next-gen AI silicon.

The supposed OS marks the culmination of a plan that's been quietly forming for more than a year.
