United Kingdom, Aug. 11 -- Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon 5 will continue to receive updates, despite recent job cuts at Turn 10 Studios.

Last month, reports emerged that Microsoft had made reductions at the Washington-based developer, raising concerns about the future of the Forza franchise, but the publisher has reassured players both games will continue to receive support.

Microsoft wrote on social media: "Dear Forza Community, we know many of you have questions about what's next for the Forza franchise, and we appreciate the support of our incredible community.

"We wanted to assure players that Turn 10 and Playground Games will continue to support Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon 5."
