United Kingdom, June 16 -- Dune: Awakening has set a new concurrent player record on Steam.

After a five-day Early Access period, the sci-fi MMO - which is developed by Funcom - got its full release on 10 June for PC, and has already managed to attract nearly 200,000 players, with a peak concurrent user number on Valve's platform standing at 189,333.

This makes Dune: Awakening the sixth most-played game by current players on Steam, with Counter-Strike 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds and Dota 2 continuing to dominate the platform.

Dune: Awakening is currently trailing behind Stella Blade on Steam, which launched on PC on 11 June and has so far peaked at 192,078 concurrent players.
